The Freedor SmartSound is a fully wireless, battery-powered door closer that offers both hold-open and free-swing functionality, allowing doors to be held open at any angle and swing freely — ideal for improving accessibility and fire safety in commercial and residential buildings. Activated by SmartSound technology, it listens for the unique sound of a fire alarm and automatically closes the door in the event of a fire, helping you stay compliant with fire regulations without compromising convenience.
