Dorgard Fire Door Retainers

The Dorgard is a reliable fire door holder designed to safely hold fire doors open at any angle, providing enhanced ventilation, access, and convenience in everyday use. In the event of a fire, the Dorgard automatically releases upon detecting the sound of a fire alarm, allowing the fire door to close and contain the spread of fire and smoke. The device is activated when the fire alarm emits a sound of 65dB or more (as per BS 5859-1) for 14 continuous seconds, ensuring that your fire doors close promptly in an emergency.
